Elisabeth Klement

Graphic designer based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She has graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie graphic design department and Critical Studies department at Sandberg Instituut. Since 2011 together with Pieter Verbeke runs art and design book shop San Serriffe in Amsterdam. In the summertime together with Laura Pappa she organises the annual Asterisk Summer School in Estonia, an annual B-side to the working year dedicated to exploring practices related to graphic design. In 2015 she launched the publication series Apparition of the Ampersand, which aims to define the extended field of the practice of graphic design through interviews and writings by practitioners working in the fringes of the discipline.
